NL Reports 1 New Case of COVID-19

There is one new case of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador today. The case is in Eastern Health. This is the first case in 21 days.

There are 261 cases in total. Three of those cases are active.

Of these cases, 1 person is in hospital. 255 have recovered. To date, there have been three deaths. A total of 11,775 people have been tested.

There was no televised news conference today, the update was issued via a news release.

When we enter Alert Level Three, there will be standards for entering hair salons/barber shops, spa and esthetic services (manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, make-up, etc.), tattooing and piercing services, and tanning salons.
