NL Health Services urges MRI patients to confirm appointment locations in St. John’s

NL Health Services is asking patients with upcoming MRI appointments in St. John’s to carefully review their appointment letters to confirm where their scan will take place.

In a notice issued Wednesday, NL Health Services said MRI appointments scheduled on or after Feb. 9 may be held at a new ambulatory health hub at 28 Stavanger Drive, located in the former Costco building.

The new site will operate in addition to existing MRI locations at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, the Health Sciences Centre and the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre.

MRI services are provided by appointment only and operate Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Patients looking to confirm details or check the status of an appointment can contact the MRI booking office at 709-777-9729.
