NL Has New Case of COVID-19



After 43 days of no new cases of COVID-19, Newfoundland and Labrador, the province has a new case. The new case is related to travel.


The new COVID-19 case is a male located in the Eastern Health region. The individual, who is a resident of the province, had recently returned from the United States.


The last case was reported on May 28th.

No televised briefing was scheduled for today.

This means there have now been 262 cases in the province. 258 have recovered and there have been three deaths.
