NL Alliance Party voluntarily deregisters

The NL Alliance Party, founded in 2019, has voluntarily deregistered as a political party in the province.

It was created by former PC Party president Graydon Pelley.

In the 2021 provincial election, the NL Alliance nominated six candidates. Leader Graydon Pelley was a candidate for the district of Humber-Gros Morne but later withdrew his nomination due to a medical emergency.

The party did not win any seats in the election.

The deregistration is effective immediately.
