New H.G.R. Mews Community Centre opening today

The City of St. John’s will officially open the new H.G.R. Mews Community Centre today.

This facility spans 60,000 square feet and contains a 25-metre, six-lane swimming pool with a climbing wall, a leisure pool, and a steam room. There is also a gymnasium, walking track, squash, handball, or racquetball courts and more.

Fall recreation programs will take place at the new facility and a Grand Opening event for the facility will take place later this fall.
