New director of Francophone school board announced

The Conseil scolaire francophone provincial, the province’s Francophone school board has announced a new director of education.
Selena Mell has been named as the new director of education and will begin her tenure on October 3rd.
Mell is originally from Quebec. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree and Bachelor of Education degree at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, as well as a Master of Education at Gonzaga University in Washington state. She is currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Education program at William Howard Taft University in Denver, Colorado.
Mell is also fluently bilingual in French and English and holds a certificate in special education.
