MV Veteran out of service

A technician has arrived onboard the Veteran and is working on electrical issues.

While repairs are being completed on the MV Veteran, air services are available to and from Fogo Island, Change Islands, and Long Island for passengers travelling for medical reasons, such as doctor’s appointments, and essential workers.

While the MV Veteran is out of service, the MV Beaumont Hamel will move from the Long Island-Pilley’s Island route to the Fogo Island-Change Islands-Farewell route.

The MV Sound of Islay will begin providing service to Long Island, beginning today.

Helicopter service will be provided to Long Island travellers until that time.
