Municipal leaders from across Newfoundland and Labrador will gather in St. John's this fall as Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL) celebrates its 75th anniversary during its annual Conference, Trade Show and Annual General Meeting.

The event is scheduled for Nov. 5 to 7, 2026, at the St. John's Convention Centre.

MNL said the conference will bring together municipal representatives to discuss key issues facing communities, explore solutions, and share knowledge through educational sessions, networking opportunities, industry exhibits and discussions focused on the future of municipalities in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Registration fees are $650 for MNL members, $750 for non-members and observers, $650 for registered charity representatives and $350 for students.

The organization noted that member municipalities can offset the cost of attendance through the provincial government's Municipal Training Fund, which provides $2,000 annually to each municipality for eligible training expenses.

Ahead of the conference, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in professional development sessions on community disaster recovery planning and Indigenous cultural diversity training.
