Municipal enforcement patrolling Mount Pearl trails following frightening incident

Following the incident this week, the City of Mount Pearl has announced that municipal enforcement officers will be conducting bike patrols on the trail network over the next several weeks.

The city states that these patrols are intended to enhance public safety, provide increased visibility and deterrence, support trail users and respond quickly to any concerns.

Mount Pearl has over 60 km of trails. Users are reminded to be aware of their surroundings and report any concerns or suspicious activity to the RNC.
