MUN Faculty take strike action
The Memorial University of Newfoundland Faculty Association has taken strike action.
The deadline to reach a deal was last night and the deadline passed without any sign of a deal.
Memorial University announced on Sunday that they offered employees a 12 percent increase, and MUNFA is requesting a 14 percent increase. The University also offered increased parental leave and other benefits.
The Muse has announced the locations for picketing today.
