Multiple Residents Displaced following House Fire in Seal Cove on Sunday Night

Firefighters with the Conception Bay South Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire late Sunday night on Allison Road in Seal Cove.

When firefighters arrived, they made entry through the front door of the home, where they then found a fire in the basement and quickly extinguished the fire with an attack line.

After quickly putting out the fire, crews used a fan to clear smoke from the home. The home did sustain fire damage along with smoke damage throughout the home.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident, although multiple residents were displaced. Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary also attended the scene.
