Multiculturalism Grant Program opens for applications

Applications are now being accepted for the Newfoundland and Labrador Multiculturalism Grant Program.

The program helps schools, organizations and communities deliver events and activities that create welcoming and inclusive environments.

Grants of up to $1,500 per organization are available to non-profit groups, municipalities and public education institutions. Special consideration will be given to initiatives focused on anti-racism, equity, diversity and inclusion. Grants will be assessed and awarded by region on a competitive basis.

Organizations that are interested must apply through the Labour Market Program Support System by Friday, January 30, at 4:30 p.m.

K-12 public schools must follow the alternative submission process outlined in the program guidelines.
