Mount Pearl Traffic Stop results in wanted man being arrested

Shortly before 1:00 p.m. on December 14th. Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) conducted a traffic stop on Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl. The officer determined that the vehicle was not registered and that the driver, a 27 year-old male, had a suspended driver’s licence.


There were also three arrest warrants in effect

for the male. The male was arrested and released to appear in court at a later date in relation to

the warrants. He was also issued two tickets and his vehicle was seized.
