Motorists Reminded to Secure Cargo

The provincial government has erected new signs across the province reminding motorists to secure their cargo.

It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure loads are properly secured when transporting cargo of any kind.

There have been instances in the past when flying debris has obstructed the view of, or struck other motorists.

Anyone who fails to comply with the regulations can face a fine ranging from $120 to $600. These regulations apply to all vehicles, not just commercial vehicles.
