Motorcyclist taken to hospital after colliding with vehicle in Mount Pearl on Saturday

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Old Placentia Road and Richard Nolan Drive in Mount Pearl just after 7:10 PM on Saturday.


When crews arrived a motorcycle had collided into a Sedan, Which caused significant damage to the motorcycle as well as the sedan. The occupant of the bike was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.


One of the occupants of the sedan had to be extricated from the vehicle. It’s unknown if any of the occupants aboard the vehicle were taken to hospital.


Traffic at the intersection was slowed as members with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Traffic Services and Collision Analyst teams investigated the collision. It’s unknown what the extent of the injury’s are or what caused the collision at this time.
