Motorcycle rider flees police in St. John’s, leading to another arrest

A motorcycle rider fled from police in St. John’s Sunday night after officers attempted to stop him in the Cowan Heights area.

At approximately 9:13 p.m. on September 13, RNC officers attempted to stop the motorcycle.

The rider refused to stop and later abandoned the motorcycle in a wooded area.

While searching for the suspect, officers conducted a traffic stop on another vehicle and arrested a 30-year-old male on an outstanding warrant.

The man was taken to the St. John’s lockup.
