More than $35 million in funding announced for Water and Sewer Projects on the West Coast

The federal, provincial, and municipal governments announced more than $35 million in funding for water and sewer projects on the west coast.

The announcement took place today in Corner Brook where more than $12 million of the funding was allocated for a new water storage tank, water pumping station and an expansion of the water distribution system.

The project aims to provide water to a new residential development area and tie into the existing water distribution system, serving 8,576 existing homes and enabling 300 new homes.
