A two vehicle moose accident on Peacekeepers Way between Fowler's Road and the Trans Canada Highway early Saturday morning sent at least two people to hospital.

Emergency services got the call around 1:35 a.m. on Saturday morning reporting that at least one vehicle had hit a moose on Peacekeepers Way. It is unknown at this time what caused the other vehicle involved to crash.

One of the operators of the vehicle was taken to hospital on a stretcher while the another occupant of another or the same vehicle was also taken to hospital.

Traffic was reduced to one lane as the moose and one of the vehicles were blocking a lane of travel. Both vehicles involved did sustain moderate to significant damage.
