Moderna Cuts Shipments to Canada

Moderna has announced that they will cut the number of COVID-19 vaccines sent to Canada.

Originally the company was to send 230,400 shots to Canada next week, with 249,600 shots to follow three weeks later. That number will be between 20-25 percent less.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that as production picks up so too will the stability of the system.

Pfizer is also shipping considerably fewer shots than originally promised. Their shipment has been cut by 80 percent.

It was announced on Friday that Johnson & Johnson's single-shot COVID-19 vaccine appears to be 66% effective overall in global trial.
