Maximum fuel prices were adjusted across Newfoundland and Labrador, with gasoline prices increasing while diesel and heating fuel prices declined.

All types of gasoline motor fuel increased by 3.9 cents per litre.

On the Island, diesel motor fuel decreased by up to 1.6 cents per litre. Diesel prices in Labrador’s Zones 13 and 13a decreased by 1.5 cents per litre.

Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island decreased by 1.37 cents per litre, while stove oil heating fuel in Labrador’s Zones 13 and 13a decreased by 1.34 cents per litre.

The price changes were based on market data available as of the close of business on Sept. 4, 2026, and did not reflect more recent market activity.

The Board’s next scheduled price adjustment was set for Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026.
