Missing Boy Found Safe after being Reported Missing in Paradise on Monday

A missing 9-year-old boy was safely located on Monday afternoon after being reported missing in the Karwood Drive area in Paradise.

Police issued a statement at around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday saying they were looking for the missing 9-year-old boy in the area of Karwood Drive in Paradise.

Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Mounted Unit, Police Dog Services and Operational Patrol Service responded to the call along with Rovers Search and Rescue personnel. Police and Rovers Search and Rescue utilized a drone in the wooded area just behind Paradise Elementary.

Police updated just over an hour later saying the missing 9-year-old has been found and is located safe.

The boys name and picture have been removed out of respect of the family.
