Mayor of Massey Drive has passed away

The Mayor of the Town of Massey Drive has passed away.

Allan Gillespie passed away on Sunday.

He was first elected to council in 2016 and became the deputy mayor in 2017 and mayor in 2019.

Visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Corner Brook on Wednesday and Thursday.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at The cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Grand Falls-Windsor.
