Mask mandate returning to health care facilities

Newfound News has learned that NL Health Services will be bringing in a mask mandate on Monday.

As of Monday, November 3, at 8:00 a.m., there will be a mask mandate in place at all NL Health Services facilities across the province.

This includes all clinical care areas and all inpatient ambulatory care areas. A clinical area is anywhere that a client or patient is receiving care.

The mask mandate will be reevaluated on March 31, 2026.
