Mandatory vaccination policy to remain for Provincial Public Service Employees

The provincial government says that once public health restrictions are lifted, the mandatory vaccination policy for provincial public service employees and those who work with them will remain in place.

Government says the policy was implemented to ensure continued safety in the workplace, as well as to ensure additional health protection for residents.

Public service employees in core provincial government departments, as well as agencies, boards and commissions, were required to be fully vaccinated or have an approved medical exemption by December 17, 2021.
