Man purchased large quantity of cat food for local shelters

On Saturday, October 2, a man with a heart of gold made his way to the Pet Valu store located on Kelsey Drive in St. John's and made a very large purchase, but not for his own pet.

The man purchased a large quantity of cat food to donate to local charities.

Staff at the store held up the receipt with the help of a ladder to show how much food the man had bought.
