Man Issued Several Tickets Following Traffic Stop Near Corner Brook #nltraffic

The RNC conducted a traffic stop on the North Shore Highway on Tuesday evening.

The vehicle was determined to have been unregistered since 2012.

A 20-year-old male resident of Corner Brook was issued tickets for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

Tickets were also issued for a cracked windshield, invalid stickers on the license plate, it was also determined that the sticker attached to the license plate had been stolen.

The accused was arrested for possession of the stolen property and was released to appear in Court at a later date.

The accused was also found to have an outstanding warrant. The accused was arrested on the outstanding warrant and held in custody at the HMP Corner Brook.
