Man in custody after barricading himself in a residence in Parsons Pond

A 38-year-old man has been taken into custody after barricading himself in a residence in Parsons Pond on Sunday afternoon.

Officers were informed that a man had damaged a residence, made threats to damage another property and barricaded himself inside the home refusing to exit.

The man also made threats towards the police should they attend the home.
