Man gets more than he ordered from the drive-thru in Bay Roberts

A local business in Bay Robert's reported a suspected impaired driver at their drive-thru window on Thursday morning.

Police responded and stopped the vehicle they discovered open alcohol in his vehicle. The driver also failed a roadside breath test.

He was transported to the Bay Roberts Detachment for further testing.

The man will appear in court at a later date to face charges of impaired driving and having open alcohol in a vehicle.

His license was suspended and his vehicle impounded.
