Man found dead in Port au Bras residence

RCMP says a man has been found deceased in his Port au Bras residence last night.

Police were called to the home on Tuesday night after concerns were raised about his safety and wellbeing.

Officers attended and set up a safety perimeter after determining that the man had a large number of firearms.

Additional resources were deployed to the scene in the interest of public and officer safety. When officers entered the home, they located the man deceased inside. The investigation has determined that no foul play is suspected.
