Man facing several charges after disturbance in St. John's

Last night the RNC responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence east end of St John’s.

Responding officers learned an assault had taken place and the suspect had fled the area.

After a search was conducted police located and arrested the 32-year-old male. He was charged with; assault, uttering threats, trespassing at night, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, breach of probation and breach of release order.

The accused also had an outstanding arrest warrant and was held to appear in court.
