Man Facing Charges of Assaulting Police Officer & Resisting Arrest

A 42-year-old man from Howley is facing charges of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest following an incident at his home on March 17.

Deer Lake RCMP attended the residence of Warren Gavin to serve a court document.

Officers were invited inside the home by Gavin and while attempting to explain the court order, he became angry, assaulted one of the officers and ran upstairs.
