Man charged with sexual acts against minors

The RNC has arrested and charged 40-year-old Kyle Harbin of St. John’s in connection with sexual violence against young people.

On March 18, police received a report related to sexual violence against teenage girls. The RNC Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit was engaged to investigate.

Harbin faces charges of sexual assault, sexual interference, two counts of making sexually explicit material available to a child, two counts of luring a child, and uttering threats.

All survivors of sexual violence are encouraged to reach out for help from a trusted resource as soon as it is safe to do so.
