Man charged with attempted murder in 2024 shooting

The RNC has charged a man with attempted murder following a 2024 shooting in St. John’s.

Back on June 12, 2024, police responded to a call for service at a St. John’s hospital where a female had presented with a gunshot wound.

Yesterday, investigators charged Dylan Walsh with more than a dozen firearms offences in addition to attempted murder, aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, assault, mischief, intimidation, and failing to provide the necessities of life.

The 28-year-old is scheduled to appear in court today.
