Man Charged Following Vehicle Break-In and Fraud Investigation at Avalon Mall

A 37-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a fraud investigation at the Avalon Mall on Sunday afternoon.
The RNC responded to a fraud complaint at the mall at approximately 2:30 p.m. on May 31.
According to police, the complainant reported that someone had broken into his vehicle and used his credit cards to make purchases at the mall.
Officers investigated the complaint and were able to identify a suspect. Police later located the man inside the mall and arrested him.
The 37-year-old was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
He is charged with fraud, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
