Man charged after police find open alcohol in vehicle in Bay Roberts

On Wednesday night the RCMP received a tip from the public of a dangerous driver near Powell’s Supermarket in Bay Roberts.

Officers responded and located the vehicle in question. The man from Carmanville was arrested for impaired driving.

The man was charged with failing to comply with a breath demand and failing to comply with a probation order.

The vehicle was seized and impounded. The accused was ticketed for an expired license and open alcohol in the vehicle.

He was held to appear in court.
