Man arrested on the west coast for suspected drug trafficking

Police arrested a 22-year old Pasadena man after a traffic stop on the Trans-Canada Highway near Corner Brook on Friday.

When police conducted the traffic stop they found cocaine and prescription pills, as well as items consistent with drug trafficking.

The two men were arrested, the passenger was later released without charges.

The driver is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

The vehicle was seized.
