Man arrested on several outstanding warrants

Early on Friday morning RNC officers encountered a 20-year-old male in Mount Pearl, who was known to have several outstanding warrants of arrest.

Following a brief foot pursuit, the male was apprehended and taken into custody.

In addition to the warrants of arrest being executed, additional charges were laid.

The male was held for court.
