Man arrested in Mount Pearl after reported fight

A 44-year-old man was arrested Monday night after police responded to a report of a fight in central Mount Pearl.

RNC officers were called to the area around 8:07 p.m. on Feb. 23.

Police say that upon arrival, officers learned one of the men involved was wanted on outstanding recent charges. The man was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and two counts of breach of probation related to separate matters.

He was taken to the lockup in St. John's and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
