Man arrested in drive-thru in Bay Roberts for impairment #nltraffic

Bay Roberts arrested a man in a drive-thru on Wednesday.


The Cupid's man failed to comply with a demand in relation to an impaired driving investigation.


Police received a report of a suspected impaired driver and made a patrol and located the described vehicle in the lineup of a local drive-thru.


Officers spoke to the driver and suspected he was impaired by a drug. The man refused to comply with a demand to complete roadside sobriety testing and was arrested.


He was transported to the detachment and was later released from custody.


He now faces a charge for refusing to comply with a demand and his driver’s licence is suspended.


He is scheduled to attend court at a later date.
