Man arrested for uttering threats & outstanding warrant

RNC arrested a 45-year-old man after a disturbance in St. John's on Thursday night.

On Thursday evening police responded to a disturbance in a residential area in the center city area.

Officers received information that a male had uttered threats to cause harm.

The suspect was at a residence in the area.

As a result of an investigation, the man was arrested and charged with uttering threats.

Officers also confirmed an outstanding warrant of arrest in effect for the accused.

The male was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court in connection with this event, as well as the warrant of arrest.
