Man Arrested for Impaired Driving After Accident

RCMP arrested a 35-year-old Butlerville man after a single-vehicle collision on Thursday morning.

When officers arrived at the scene they found a car in the ditch.

The driver, who police believed to be impaired by alcohol was arrested for impaired driving.

The accused was taken to the detachment where he provided breath samples that were more than the legal limit.

The man was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face charges of impaired driving. Police seized and impounded the vehicle and suspended the man’s driver's licence.
