Man arrested following weapons offences in metro

Multiple officers responded to a weapons call on Saturday afternoon in the center city area of St John’s.

A 34-year-old male was located in the area and arrested.

The male was charged with assault with a weapon and numerous weapon offences. The male was held to appear in court in the morning.
