Man arrested following report of animal cruelty in St. John's

The RNC were called to a report of animal cruelty at a residence in St. John's on Saturday afternoon.

Officers responded, and as a result, a 34-year-old male was arrested and charged with causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.

The male was released to appear in court at a later date.
