The RCMP in Natuashish arrested a 33-year-old man on Monday after a pair of break, enter and thefts.
On Monday, police were called to a report of a break, enter and theft at a commercial building on Pokue Street. During the early morning hours of January 1, the suspect gained entry inside more than one office, caused damage to the property and left with multiple laptop computers.
The same day, there was a second break-and-enter at the nearby post office.
Nicholas Rich was arrested without incident at a residence in the community. He was held in police custody to appear in Provincial Court.
Rich has been charged with five counts of break and enter to commit an indictable offence, two counts of unlawful possession of break-in instrument, two counts of disguise with intent, two counts of failure to comply with a probation order, and theft of mail from a post office.
Investigations into these incidents are ongoing.
