Man arrested following break and enter into St. John's home

A 59-year-old was arrested following a break and enter in the Downtown area of St. John's on Friday morning.
The RNC responded to an unknown trouble call at a residence at 5:25 a.m. on Friday morning.
When officers arrived, they were informed that someone may have broken into the home. Officers gained entry and searched the house, locating a male in one of the rooms.
The man was arrested for break and enter, and subsequent checks showed that there were multiple warrants for his arrest.
He was charged with break and enter and carrying a concealed weapon.
