Man arrested following assault in St. John's

On Monday evening, the RNC responded to a report of an assault in progress on Aldershot Street in St. John’s.

Police spoke with a witness and the female victim.

As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old male was arrested and charged with assault.

He was held to appear in court this morning.
