Man arrested after traffic stop in St. John's

On Friday morning at 1:08 am, RNC patrol officers conducted a traffic stop on Bay Bulls Road in St. John’s.

Officers determined that the driver was operating with a suspended license and without valid insurance.

The driver was also on a release order with the condition to not operate a motor vehicle.

The 54-year-old male driver was arrested and charged with breach of release order, operating while suspended and operating without valid insurance.

The accused was held for court and his vehicle was impounded.
