Man arrested after forcing his way into a residence in St. John's

A man is in custody pending a court appearance after he forced his way into a residence in the east end of St. John's.

At 2:34 am this morning the RNC was called to a report of an unwelcome person at a residence.

The intoxicated male had forced his way into the residence and assaulted one of its occupants. As a result, the 29-year-old was arrested and charged with break and enter, assault and two breaches of a release order.
