Man arrested after firearms incident in Stephenville

On Wednesday evening the RCMP received a report of a disturbance in Stephenville involving an individual with a firearm who was making threats to harm others.

Officers responded immediately, located the individual and arrested him just before 10:00 pm in the area of Queen Street in Stephenville.

He is being held in custody and charges are anticipated. Further details will be provided on any charges laid.
