Man arrested after domestic disturbance in Mount Pearl

A 45-year-old man was arrested Monday night after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in Mount Pearl.

The RNC were called to the home at about 9:07 p.m. Officers spoke with occupants and witnesses at the scene before arresting the man.

The suspect was charged with uttering threats, mischief, two counts of assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest and breaching a release order.

He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court this morning.
